Low-density polyethylene, PEBD, is a thermoplastic polymer made up of repetitive units of ethylene. It is also known as LDPE, Low Density Polyethylene.
This material is made up of very branched structures, giving it a lower density compared to high-density polyethylene.
Variety of formulations of standard and non-stick material, capable of adapting to all types of facilities
Our PEBD film
Retractable plastic (shrink film, chequea) is made from polyethylene, in foil, semi-tube or tube format. It is opaque, translucent, transparent and in different colors, according to the customer's needs.
The PEBD or LDPE film is applied with heat, adjusting to the shapes and volumes of the object for subsequent storage and transport.
- Greater resistance to tearing and impact
- Protection against meteorological elements
- High strength and flexibility
- Clamping force for pallet packaging
- Protection and stability of pallet loading
- Reliability for export
- Good thermal and chemical resistance
At Xallas Embalajes we adapt to the customer's needs. Do you need more information? Contact our team.
Shrink film is made of low-density polyethylene, with the ability to adapt to goods of different sizes and resistant to heat. Used to protect products from inclement weather, moisture and dust.
The merchandise wrapped with retractable plastic guarantees reliable transport without damage or deterioration, reaching its destination in an excellent state of conservation. That is why it is considered a main element in warehouses or logistics centers.
At Xallas Embalajes we are committed to a circular economy, so all the plastic waste generated in production, as well as non-conforming material, we recycle it to return to the production cycle.
These plastic wastes go through a recycling process: crushing, washing, and graining. Finally, you get the grain that becomes the final product of the recycling process and raw material for the extrusion of retractable plastic.
